System 82 – Float (window) Glass

What makes our product unique?

Glassy Cuts Frit allows artists to work with system 82 glass, or what is commonly referred to as “FLOAT GLASS”,  aka window glass.

This means it can be easily used on bottles, lanterns, our precut glassy cut shapes, old frame glass, broken window scraps, you name it.

About Us

Glassy Cuts was developed years ago to give glass artists the ability to color and create with a float compatible frit, enabling them to create beautiful works of art with this versatile and under-utilized material.  With over 165 float glass blanks, and more than 80 frit colorants, we aim to provide the highest quality products for both personal and professional use.

In addition to our beautiful colorants and float glass blanks, we are proud to offer Float Glass Mosaic pieces, tools, and Lisa’s Comprehensive System 82 Glass Book,‘Cooking with Glass’. Available in store and online. New products are currently in development, and we are excited to share them with you soon!

Lisa’s Studio, The Lisa Stirrett Creative Warrior Studio, is not only a creative space for making glass projects, but also the home of the Creative Warriors non-profit. The studio exists to empower and improve the lives of women worldwide using a portion of every sale to fund that work. As a part of our Creative Warrior Program, we have funded hundreds of micro-loans for sustainable businesses, provided education and health resources, and so much more, in Burkina Faso, West Africa. Lisa is currently partnering with women from other parts of Africa to bring this program to their countries and communities.

We proudly call ourselves Creative Warriors because we believe we are all Warriors for the things that matter most to us. What are you a Warrior for?
