Copper Inclusions

How to Incorporate Copper Inclusions

image2 (1)

Copper inclusions are easy!

You’ll use 2 pieces of float glass with both sides tin up. Place your copper in-between the glass and fuse. The copper needs approximately 1.5-2″ from the edge of the glass to help maintain the shiny copper look. As the copper oxidizes, the edges will turn from burgundy to black.

If you incorporate frit next to the copper, or on the copper, it will change the copper color to black.
